The Senior Account Executive role has responsibility for prospecting and closing new business and growing current business within a focus account list spread across SMB, Mid-Market & Enterprise Accounts. NextLink Labs has a “startup culture” but our team is composed of experienced individuals, and we have a steady stream of current clients/business.
- Consistently achieve annual sales targets
- Responsible for overall sales strategies and generating positive business outcomes for our clients
- In tandem with our Professional Services team, own the entire customer lifecycle where you will develop and implement strategies to increase growth
- Articulate the vision and positioning of our services / solutions to differentiate our capabilities to clients
- Develop a deep understanding of both our customers and competitive landscape, enabling a business dialogue to be conducted with technical management contacts and their teams
- Work in tandem with other sales colleagues to drive company wide revenue
- Drive creative business development activities to penetrate white space accounts
- Work with partners to propose differentiated solutions to help organizations execute strategic technical initiatives
- Track Customer Account Plans, Notes & Deals within our CRM for all targeted accounts, ensuring profiles are current, factual and easily accessible by the leadership team
- Builds and maintains network of colleagues and customers to share information and obtain prospects
- Minimum 5+ years of selling technology/software solutions
- Proven ability in closing complex deals within the tech vertical
- Experience in combination of technology and services
- Experience in managing sales cycles that can be lengthy, complex, and contract-heavy
- Proven ability to learn in a very fast-paced environment
- Self Motivated & ability to work in a remote first company
- Ability to adapt to change
- Must be a team player - ability to interact with teammates and partners fairly, and respectfully; proactive / results-driven / strong problem solving skills
